The Dayton School is a project-based high school that provides unique pathways to graduation. We are a holistic school designed to ensure all students’ needs are met. Culinary Arts
Students will get an introduction to the hospitality and tourism industry, learn about foundations of restaurant management, acquire skills for food production, and learn proper food safety and sanitation techniques.

Media Arts
With a focus on music production, this specific pathway prepares students for careers such as music/audio recording, web design/coding, printing, graphic design, and television and video production. Students hone their creative abilities by developing projects using industry-standard software programs and tools.

Early Childhood Education
Students learn the skills to be early learning educators that prepare children to be lifelong learners. Students hone techniques to teach children how to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally. They also explore ways to prepare children for kindergarten.
